About Hand Block

Hand block printing is a traditional textile printing method where designs are carved into wooden blocks and then used to imprint patterns onto fabric by hand. It's a simple, sustainable, and artistic technique, often using natural dyes and intricate designs. 

Purpose

These fabrics are then used to make apparel and home furnishings, such as table cloths, runners, curtains, cushion covers, and other textile materials.

Washing Instruction

To care for hand block printed fabrics, always hand wash in cold or lukewarm water with a mild detergent, or use a gentle machine cycle. Avoid harsh chemicals, bleach, and high temperatures, as these can cause the colours to fade or bleed. Air dry away from direct sunlight and iron on the reverse side with a low heat setting or steam iron.
